Welcome to the MIIA Health Benefits Trust Grant Photo Gallery. Here we showcase all of the amazing and creative projects that have been completed over the past year. We hope you will access this page out of curiosity, whenever you need ideas for a future grant, or when you just want to brag a little about the projects completed in your community. Last year we had 41 members apply and get funding for a variety of things. We hope to double that this year. Keep checking back to see what's new on the page. The MIIA Wellness grant provided funding for the North Adams Fire Department and Police to be able to purchase much needed exercise equipment for their gym.

The Brookfield Town Hall received its first healthy food delivery this morning from Farmer at the Door, a local farm delivery service. The food is readily available in the Town Hall kitchen for those who want to make a sandwich, bowl of soup, salad, etc. or just a quick snack! We thank you so much for this opportunity, which is already earning rave reviews!

"I want to express my thanks for making this whole process easy and enjoyable. The food delivery is great and appreciated by all! We have some workers making toast (homemade organic bread) with jam (from fresh farm fruits) in the morning; the Chief of Police, among others, enjoying healthy, organic soups; sandwiches and salads made from nitrate free meats and freshly picked salad greens for lunch; as well as employees snacking on the local orchard fruits, homemade pickles, healthy sweet breads, etc. Not only has this program provided healthy, local, chemical-free food choices, it has brought together personnel from various departments to literally "break bread" with one another. We really cannot thank you enough!"
