Celebrate Cheer Up The Lonely Day

We are celebrating a fun and unusual holiday with a challenge for you to engage in. There are three easy steps to participate. First, choose your favorite option that you'd like to try. Second, take a picture of yourself doing the activity. Lastly, fill out the form below by midnight, July 31, 2026. This program is open to all employees and spouses. Any employee or spouse who participates will be entered into the raffle. For every ten submissions there will be a raffle winner!

National Cheer Up The Lonely Day!

National Cheer Up the Lonely Day is celebrated each year on July 11. It’s a day to recognize that loneliness can touch anyone and to encourage us to reach out and brighten someone’s day.

Option 1

Spend quality time with someone you know who might appreciate the company. Share a photo of your time together with us.

Option 2

Send a thoughtful note or a small gift to let someone know you’re thinking of them. Send us a picture of the note or gift, or even better, a photo of the recipient with your gift.

Option 3

Volunteer your time at a local nursing home to offer companionship to residents. Capture a photo of your volunteer experience.
